How to read the output

Cost per point is fees ÷ points. Value per point is expected dollars ÷ points. If the implied multiple is under 1× in the base case, you are already underwater on fees relative to a median launch — keep farming only if you have a reasoned bull case or a season reset ahead. Calculator questions

How accurate is this calculator?+

It is only as good as the three inputs: your share of points, the community allocation, and FDV at launch. Allocation and FDV are often unpublished, so the tool uses the screener's editorial estimates (or your overrides) and runs three scenarios so you can see how sensitive the answer is. Treat it as a decision aid, not a payout guarantee.

Where do I find total points outstanding?+

Some venues publish it on a season dashboard. Where they do not, multiply the weekly emission rate by weeks elapsed, or infer it from leaderboard percentiles if the venue shows your rank. Wrong totals are the most common way to overstate expected value.

Should I include fees from hedging on another venue?+

Yes, if you are farming delta-neutral. Cost per point only means something when it includes every fee you paid to generate those points — including the hedge leg and funding paid or received.
